Description | The NAYRAH project is a large-scale industrial plant planned in southern Mauritania for the production of green hydrogen and green ammonia. It is a modular, scalable power-to-X project by Möhring Energie, starting with an initial electrolysis capacity of around 100 MW and expanding up to 1 GW. The plant aims to produce up to 140,000 tons of green hydrogen and 400,000 tons of green ammonia annually for export to European markets, with production scheduled to start in 2029. The project includes integrated solutions for seawater desalination and regenerative by-products for agriculture. |
