Description

Description

Webster, NY transformed former industrial brownfields into a vibrant industrial hub with a 2% vacancy rate through $9.8 million in infrastructure upgrades funded by the FAST NY Grant. Key roads were reconstructed, a multi-use trail was created, and electrical grid enhancements were made. This enabled the development of the North East Area for Technology (NEAT), a 300-500 acre industrial park with advanced utilities including 34 kV and 115 kV power lines and high-pressure natural gas supply. Nearly one million square feet of new industrial space is expected by 2025, including a $650 million fairlife® dairy facility creating 250 jobs.
