The project aims to bring 1,000 to 1,200 construction jobs and 100 to 150 full-time high-paying tech jobs, along with approximately $88 million annually in tax revenue for Jefferson County and Birmingham City Schools. The facility uses a closed-loop water system, pays full power costs to avoid residential rate impact, and includes noise mitigation measures. |
