Description | Nebius broke ground on a data center campus near 78 Highway and Little Blue Parkway on land off North Bly Road in Independence, Missouri. The campus will cover up to 400 acres and require 800 megawatts of power. The project is expected to create 1,300 construction jobs and about 130 full-time jobs once operational. The first phase is expected to be operational by the second quarter of 2027, with full completion projected between 2028 and 2029. The project includes tax incentives approved by the Independence City Council and aims to bring significant annual revenue to the city. |
