Description | The project involves the development, construction and operation of a 37.95MW Necochea wind farm in the Province of Buenos Aires, Argentina. Necochea wind farm is part of Argentina's RenovAr 1.5 program. The SPV Vientos de Necochea SA is equally owned by Genneia and Centrales de la Costa Atlántica SA. The project costs are expected to be around $ 62 million. FMO and Sumitomo Miutsui Banking Corporation (SMBC) acted as co-arrangers of the $ 51 million in long-term financing agreements. FMO provided Facility A and B Loan. Facility A includes a Guaranteed Tranche (by EKF Export Credit Agency of Denmark (EKF) and an Uncovered Tranche. The Facility B Loan is granted directly by FMO. Financial close was reached on 2 August 2019.
