Description | The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) partially opened the 1.18 km Nellyadi flyover with underpasses in Dakshina Kannada district on Bengaluru-Mangaluru National Highway 75 (NH 75). This flyover is part of the larger B.C. Road-Periyashanthi four-laning project on NH 75, designed to ease traffic congestion in Nellyadi town and improve vehicle movement along the highway corridor connecting Bengaluru with coastal Karnataka. The flyover includes three spans, each 15 metres wide, and two vehicular underpasses to improve local connectivity while ensuring uninterrupted highway traffic flow. The second carriageway is expected to open before the monsoon season, further reducing congestion. |
