Description | In 2012, a local private company Kaidi Electric Power signed an agreement with the Nenjiang County Government to build and operate a biomass power plant in Nenjiang County, Heihe City, Heilongjiang Province. The total investment was RMB 600 million (US$ 97.67 million) and Kaidi had a 100% stake in the project. The capacity of the power plant was 60MW. Construction commenced in May 2013. An amount of RMB 240 million (US$ 39.07 million) had been expended on the project by August 2014. The concession term was 50 years. An SPV Nenjiang Kaidi Sunshine Biomass Energy Development Company Limited was established to implement the project. |
