The project NEO-TN deals with the National Erasmus+ Office of Tunisia application for funding the NEO activities. The NEO of Tunisia project will strengthen the international cooperation component in Tunisia to improve the quality of education, training, and youth throughout the Erasmus+ programme. The NEO of Tunisia throughout its activities within the programme will strengthen relations between higher education institutions/organisations and the wider economic and social environment. The general objectives of the NEO project of Tunisia are: - Strengthen the international cooperation component in Tunisia to improve the quality of education, training, youth and sport throughout the Erasmus+ programme. - Assist the EC, EACEA, the EUD and the national authorities in Tunisia in the implementation of the international dimension of the Erasmus+ programme in the fields of higher education, vocational training and youth. Specifically, based on the eligible calls to Tunisia as a country in Region3, the NEO of Tunisia will support, promote and disseminate activities related to all Erasmus+ international dimension actions open to cooperation with Tunisia (in Key Actions 1, 2 and 3), with a special focus on: - Key action 1 – Learning Mobility of individuals: Mobility project for higher education with partner countries (“ICM”), and Virtual exchanges in higher education and youth. - Key action 2 - Cooperation for innovation and the exchange of good practices, Cooperation Partnerships, Capacity-building in the field of higher education, Capacity-building in the field of Youth, Capacity-building in the field of VET, Erasmus Mundus Actions, and on-going Erasmus Mundus Joint Master Degrees.
