Neopol stands at an inflection point, ready to step up to the next level with a distinct and diverse lineup of creative works: audience friendly but critically backed, realized for screens of all sizes, and built together with new and old partners throughout the continent. In this slate, we present two fiction TV series: 1. A NECESSARY EVIL (6 x 45 mins), a pan-European corporate thriller with a powerful love story at its core, and 4. WHERE HAVE ALL THE FLOWERS GONE (6 x 50 mins), a dystopian/utopian tale for young adults of journeying on foot over the Alps. Furthermore, we are presenting two distinct feature films with 2. PAWS (90 mins), an English-speaking genre movie about climate change and a very angry polar bear, realized as a broad European co-production, as well as 3. OUR ENDLESS NUMBERED DAYS (100 mins), the arthouse-drama-meets-elevated-genre adaptation of a best-selling novel, centered on a girl and her father's lie: that they are the last survivors on earth. This slate is completed with the short 5. THE SCENT OF BROCCOLI (10 mins), a laconic film about the little things that can happen when people of two cultures meet. These are all strong European stories, essential voices and timely issues: developed through innovative means and industry-leading workshops, to respond to the needs of our company, the industry and the audience alike. We are tackling new horizons with series production (new to us), CGI and Virtual Production, genre film production (a focus of our company we want to deepen) and wider success in the arthouse world. With MEDIA's support, we will fully develop this slate of two series, two features and one short and, with it, guarantee both critical and commercial success for the projects as well as the sustainable growth of a pioneering, trend-setting German production house driving change and growth in its region and in the wider European industry.
