NOA – Networks Overcoming Antisemitism, offers a pioneering approach to tackle the problem of rising antisemitism in Europe. Based on a first edition and an external evaluation, major European Jewish networks (CEJI-A Jewish Contribution to Inclusive Europe, AEPJ Jewish Heritage, European Union of Jewish Students, World Jewish Congress) renew their commitment to NOA to expand the positive and systemic impact created by the project and structure their actions around 3 main objectives: 1. Hold governments accountable through the production of National Report Cards (NRC) based on the EU Council Declaration, created to serve as a benchmarking tool to aid in the development and implementation of National Action Plans to counter antisemitism in 2 new Eu Member States (ES and EE). 2. Equip educators from a variety of sectors (education, public authorities, community and cultural institutions, youth work) with training and teaching tools that effectively counter antisemitic prejudice. The existing Training Manual “Overcoming Antisemitism” will be promoted and translated in three additional languages (German, Italian and Spanish) to remain an anti-bias resource in Member States for the long-term. Two new cohorts of train-the- trainers will be held so they will lead workshops for 800 additional people in the course of the project. 3. Make more visible a Jewish contribution to an inclusive Europe through a systematic and interactive communications strategy that capitalizes, improves and expands on existing NOA tools, including: a. The Profiles Campaign of positive narratives highlighting remarkable contributions from Jewish people to European society. b. The NOA Compass with its ever-growing online interactive database of initiatives that address antisemitism. c. The NOA website with its tremendous wealth of resources will be re-designed to provide more multi-mediatic and interactive tools, such as a new presentation of the NOA National Report Card.
