Neutron Rocket Infrastructure Access and Dredging Project

Rocket Lab is developing infrastructure to support the launch of its Neutron medium-lift rocket at the Mid-Atlantic Regional Spaceport (MARS) on Wallops Island, Virginia. The project involves dredging the shallow Sloop Gut channel to allow barge deliveries of large rocket components, as well as seeking temporary permission to use kedging for hardware transport until dredging is complete. The dredging project was approved by the Virginia Marine Resources Commission but is awaiting federal approval from the Army Corps of Engineers.
