Description | A $200 million water purification and reuse facility to be built north of Reno, Nevada. The project aims to create a drought-resilient water supply, reduce reclaimed water discharge into Swan Lake by up to 2 million gallons per day, and enhance overall water quality in the region. It includes upgrades to the Reno-Stead Water Reclamation Facility, construction of an export pump station, conveyance pipelines, finished water storage tanks, and a system of injection, monitoring and extraction wells, as well as a future potable water pipeline connection. |
