New Albury Station Pedestrian Bridge

The project involves the construction of a new elevated pedestrian bridge at Albury Station in New South Wales. The bridge will facilitate the passage of double-stacked trains as part of the Inland Rail project, connecting Melbourne and Brisbane. It will connect to the existing highway pedestrian bridge and include a dedicated rest area with benches and historical signage. The design incorporates salvaged posts from the original bridge and features ramps on both sides to meet accessibility standards under the 1992 Disability Discrimination Act. The design has been reviewed by the NSW State Design Review Panel.
