New Brunswick Arterial Highway #11: Bouctouche to Miramichi Bundled Culvert Mitigation Improvement Program: 2021-2028

The project involves the replacement of 24 culverts along a 28.2 kilometre section of the New Brunswick Arterial Highway #11 between Bouctouche to Richibucto, which provide transportation, storm water system and safety essential services. The project will improve the community capacity to mitigate storms by increasing the structural and hydraulic capacity to climate change impacts which will increase the community resilience. Once completed, the project will mitigate elevated emergency repairs, protect against climate change events and maintain economic integrity for both provincial and inter-provincial trade and communication links for eastern and northern New Brunswick including multiple indigenous communities.
