New construction of culverts and road rehabilitation to establish a crown on the road for proper drainage

The objective is to establish a crown on Hunt Road West to manage storm water and drainage. The project will include 1.9 km of Hunt Road West beginning at Highway 11/17 which is a feeder road that serves the majority of the south half of the municipality. The output for the project will be a road that has proper drainage: new culverts, upgraded gravel and an overall rehabilitated road with a new crown resulting in proper storm water drainage. Hunt Road is a feeder road to Highway 11/17 and serves the majority of the south half of the township where the majority of the residents live. The project will improve stormwater management through reduced road flooding and improved conveyance in the ditch and culvert system, adjacent to the road.
