New Jersey Meadowlands Convention Center

planned

A proposed convention center complex to be built at the Meadowlands Sports Complex in East Rutherford, New Jersey, on the former site of the Izod Center Arena. The project includes a 300,000-square-foot exhibit hall, a 60,000-square-foot main ballroom, 100,000 square feet of meeting space with 75 breakout rooms, a 6,000-seat flexible arena, a 1,000-room headquarters hotel, a 70,000-square-foot outdoor terrace, and 2,000 structured parking spaces. The project aims to address the underserved large-scale meeting and convention space in the New York metropolitan region and is positioned as a cost-effective alternative to attract new events.
