New Library of Prevost

The project consists of building a new municipal library in the town of Prévost. It is a relocation of the current library. The new library will be located on the second floor of the Ville de Prévost’s new citizen center (a building not currently under construction), and will have a surface area of 1,576 m2. The new infrastructure will enhance and showcase the documentary collections on offer, and create a suitable venue for events. List of main works : - Construction of a 1st floor for the new Ville de Prévost citizen center; - Interior layout of the library, including specialized shelving; - Installation of mechanical equipment. Expenditures affecting the entire building are eligible on a pro rata basis, i.e., 48% (archaeology, excavation, construction, fees, HVAC), while expenditures exclusively related to the library are eligible at 100% (e.g., library interior layout, specialized shelving). Prévost’s new municipal library will offer citizens more spacious and welcoming spaces. This project will enable the Ville de Prévost to offer its population a better quality cultural infrastructure and improved access.
