The project features a unique pentagonal building with a faceted facade clad in laminated glass and metal mesh, a large atrium with a winding staircase connecting the new and original buildings, additional gallery and social spaces, an auditorium, offices, and a concealed restaurant. The extension complements the existing SANAA-designed museum building and enhances visitor experience and museum capacity. |
