New objective tourism without BARRIER

The project deals with the topic of social inclusion proposing the improvement of tourist easy access in the participating territories. “NO BARRIER” aims at carrying out an organic set of interventions in order to reduce barriers, which do not allow the full use of territories to disabled persons. Moreover it consists of the following: • Elaborating methods and tools for certifying the accessible places, through the creation of a system of attribution of “labels” • Infrastructural interventions. • Routes without barriers: maps of the accessible areas in the involved regions • Guidelines: collection of national and international best practices on tourism • Methods and tools to adjust the offer of the services to the disabled tourists and their families (promotion of tourist packages for disabled people) • Seminars and conferences on the theme of “social inclusion” and on “equal opportunities”
