Description
Description | Construction of a treated water storage reservoir and distribution pumphouse to serve the population of Tofield. The requirements for this project was identified in a Municipal Water & Wastewater Servicing Study that outline the storage & distribution requirements to provide potable water as well as adequate fire flows and storage. This would also provide an industry standard level of service for fire protection. The existing reservoir does not meet AB Environment Standards and Guidelines for storage requirements. The ultimate water distribution system in the Town of Tofield will abandon the existing reservoir/pumphouse and operate solely with the new treated water reservoir & pumphouse |
