Description
Description | Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit at Universal Studios Florida will permanently close on August 18, 2025, to make way for a new attraction. Permits indicate the removal of the existing ride and construction of a new, possibly larger roller coaster with three new buildings including a 2-story 39,000 square foot facility. The project includes demolition, site preparation, and construction within the same footprint as the current ride, with additional space on the ends. The new attraction is speculated to be a roller coaster, possibly themed to Fast & Furious or Ghostbusters, with construction potentially completing by mid-2027. |
