Description | This project will construct a new reservoir/pumphouse to provide sufficient chlorine contact time for disinfection. The pumphouse will be of sufficient size to accommodate a membrane treatment system in the future. Treated water from this main pumphouse will be distributed to the Industrial Park and via new pipelines to the Community of Gimli and Pelican Beach. Gimli town site has an aging cast iron distribution system which has frequent breaks and interruption to water service. This project will allow Gimli to initiate Phase 1 of a capital program to replace the entire distribution system. |
