New York City Public Interest Technology (PIT) Crews

planned

New York City is launching five Public Interest Technology Crews under the Office of Technology and Innovation. These teams, composed of product managers, designers, engineers, user researchers, and data experts, will work with city agencies to develop and implement digital solutions to improve government processes, making them faster and more efficient. The first PIT Crew will focus on implementing the nation's first click-to-cancel rule to protect consumers from subscription traps by building an online complaint portal.
