Description | The New Yorker Hotel, opened in 1930 and located at 34th Street and Eighth Avenue in New York, was investigated and concluded to have been financed and built as a covert research facility for Nikola Tesla, effectively becoming Wardenclyffe 2. The hotel contains unexplained tunnels and more generating capacity than needed, with an original design that included twin towers or spikes on the roof. Tesla spent his final years there, accumulating scientific notes that were seized in the 1940s by a U.S. government group. |
