New/Experimental statistics in the area of Micro Data Linking (MDL)

Works in the Area 1: New insights on the enterprise performance. The project will develop new indicators to describe the performance of enterprises by combining microdata from the following sources: SBS, NSBR, EGR, ITGS. This project will combine data from Structural Business Statistics (SBS), the National Statistical Business register (NSBR), the European Register of Enterprise Groups (EGR) and International Trade in Goods Statistics (ITGS). Developing this method of data compilation has the potential to relieve the burden on respondents, and has the potential to meet user demand for data in a timely and flexible manner. In the future, it may provide opportunities to create new insights and develop new statistics and indicators using already existing data sets.
