The intent of this project is to build an access drive on Hollz Parkway for a park and ride lot with an approximately 697 space parking lot for commuter vehicles, a fare system shelter, and one bus pavilion area with shelters for commuters and bus loading. Lighting facilities, security cameras, and ITS units will be included in the parking lot area. Preliminary evaluations of the grading of the site completed during Concept Design suggest a need for two retaining walls associated with the facility. Detailed grading will be performed during the design phase of the project and may indicate the need for additional minor walls at the perimeter of the parking lot to tie grades back into existing contours.
