Description
Description | Croatia’s Hrvatski Telekom has developed a smart airport project with private 5G networks in collaboration with local provider Markoja, the airports of Zagreb, Zadar, and Pula, and the faculty of transport and traffic sciences of the Zagreb university. The project aims to increase operational efficiency, enhance security, and improve user experience at the three Croatian airports. It has been submitted for co-financing under the EU's Connecting Europe Facility (CEF) programme. If approved, the airports could use private 5G networks free of charge for three years, enabling advanced 5G Standalone (SA) technologies for cutting-edge airport processes. |
