Truong Thanh Development and Construction INvestment JSC was planning the development of the 48 MW Ngoi Hut 2 Hydropower Plant, Ngoi Hut Stream, Tu Le Commune, Van Chan District, Nam Co Commune, Mu Chang Chai district, Yen Bai Province. The project was expected to generate 184,421 MWh annually. Commissioning was expected for late-2012. The Basic Design was approved in September 2008. The EIA was approved in October 2008. The PPA was signed in August 2009. The first EPC contract was signed in September 2010. The equipment supply contract was signed in March 2011. Commissioning was expected in December 2012. Expected lifespan was 40 years. Construction was expected to last 3 years. Electricity tariff was expected to be VND 724 per kWh ($0.0348 per kWh). Total investment was expected to be VND 1,115,571 million ($53.5 million). Debt equity ratio was 70/30. WACC was 14.52%.
