The project involves the construction of the Ngoma River water supply system (phase 1) inRwanda.The project will involve the construction of a new water intake on the Ngoma River, a water treatment plant, and a network of pipelines to distribute water to households and businesses in Ngoma. The project is expected to provide clean and reliable drinking water to over 200,000 people in Ngoma. It is part of the government's efforts to achieve universal access to clean water and sanitation by 2030.The project is also expected to have several other benefits, including:Reduced waterborne diseasesImproved public healthIncreased economic productivityImproved quality of life for residents of NgomaThe assignment encompasses 10 sectors of Nyagatare district as well as two sectors of the Gicumbi district, in the Eastern and Northern Provinces.
