The project aims to establish Ngqura as a key energy hub, supporting South Africa's Just Energy Transition by providing fuel infrastructure for a 3GW gas-to-power allocation and enabling approximately 3.5GW of electricity generation within the Coega Special Economic Zone. The development includes a temporary floating unit and permanent onshore facilities, along with a dedicated LNG berth to be built by TNPA. |
