Nigeria Air Cargo and Logistics Value Chain Development

planned

The Federal Government of Nigeria is working on proposals and initiatives to develop the air cargo, logistics, and allied value chain, aiming to tap into a market estimated to reach over $12 billion in the next five years. The project involves multiple government agencies and stakeholders to boost air cargo, logistics, courier, and allied businesses, with a focus on export of agricultural produce, e-commerce logistics, and manufactured goods. The initiative includes creating enabling environments, upgrading facilities, digitization, and establishing export-quality hubs to position Nigeria as a dominant cargo hub in Africa.
