Ltd. signed a 25-year build, operate, transfer (BOT) agreement to build a municipal waste water plant in Ning Jin County, Shandong Province, China. The plant was expected to have a daily processing capacity of 30,000 cubic meters of waste water. Herocan's share in this project was 50%. Beijing Herocan was a 51% subsidiary of Singapore automation company CNA Group. The contract was signed with the Ning Jin County government. The project was expected to cost RMB 33.3million (US$ 4.2million) and was financed partly by CNA Group's finances and partly through government loans. The project was expected to finish construction in December 2007. As of February 2007, the project was under construction. |
