Description | In April 2009, a local private company, Hunan Yonker Environmental Protection Group was granted a 26 year agreement to build and operate a wastewater treatment plant in Ningxiang County, Hunan Province after a competitive tendering process in which three companies participated. No information on the bid criteria was publicly available. Yongqing had a 100% stake in the project. The capacity of the plant was 50,000 cubic meters and the total investment was around RMB 74.58 million (US$ 10.67 million). |
