archived

NIST is soliciting applications from eligible public school districts and accredited private educational institutions in the U.S. and its territories nominating science teachers in grades six (6), seven (7), and/or eight (8), who have successfully completed the NIST Summer Institute for Middle School Science Teachers (NIST Summer Institute) Program. Teachers must have completed the NIST Summer Institute Program prior to applying to participate in the NIST RET Program. The NIST RET Program will allow the selected teachers to participate in scientific research with NIST scientists and engineers at the NIST Campus in Gaithersburg, Maryland.
