Description | National Institute of Technology Karnataka (NITK) has initiated piped natural gas (PNG) supply at the Brahmagiri Hostel mess in collaboration with GAIL Gas Limited. This marks a step towards cleaner campus infrastructure. PNG supply has already been extended to residential quarters on campus, ensuring uninterrupted and cleaner fuel supply. The Brahmagiri Hostel mess is the first campus establishment to shift from LPG to PNG, with plans to extend PNG supply to around 20 commercial units including messes and canteens in a phased manner. |
