The investment includes Rs 65,000 crore for renewables and green initiatives such as solar, wind, and green hydrogen projects, Rs 45,000 crore for thermal power, and Rs 15,000 crore for mining. The renewable segment includes Rs 15,000 crore for battery storage systems. The company is also planning an IPO for its renewable subsidiary NLC India Renewables Limited (NIRL) to raise funds for green energy projects. Additionally, NLCIL has signed an agreement with Telangana government to supply 200 MW renewable energy, with a project under construction in Gujarat expected to be completed in the current financial year. |
