Description	on April 2011, Khanjahan Ali (Bangladesh, 100%) a Bangladeshi Independent Power Producer, signed rental agreement with Bangladesh Power Development Board (BPDB) for the construction and operation for a 5 years term of a 40 MW Heavy Fuel Oil power plants at Noapara. Under the Rental agreement, Khanjahan Ali was to supply 40 MW of energy to BPDB for a term of 5 years. The remainder of the energy was to be sold to the public. Following a direct negotiation process, GMBH was awarded to set up a 40 MW HFO power plant at Noapara. The total project cost was 15.7 US millions and reached financial closure in April 2011.
