Description
Description | The Erasmus Mundus Joint Master’s in International Humanitarian Action (NOHA) provides high-quality academic education and professional training for individuals working or aspiring to work in humanitarian action, regardless of race, religion, age, or geographical origin. It is a two-year Master’s programme (120 ECTS) spread across 4 semesters. The programme is delivered by an international consortium of 8 European Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) members of the NOHA Network on Humanitarian Action: Aix-Marseille Université (France), University of Malta (Malta), Rijksuniversiteit Groningen- (Netherlands), Ruhr-Universität Bochum (Germany), Universidad de Deusto (Spain), University College Dublin (Ireland), Uniwersytet Warszawski (Poland), and Uppsala University(Sweden) in partnership with 11 associated partner universities from different regions of the world (Tata Institute of Social Sciences (India), Universidad Javeriana, (Colombia), Universitas Gadjah Mada (Indonesia), Université Saint-Joseph (Lebanon), Chiang Mai University (Thailand), Deakin University (Australia), Fordham University (USA), German Jordanian University (Jordan), DOHA institute for Graduate Studies (Qatar), University of Makeni (Sierra Leone) and Universidad Rafael Landivar (Guatemala) and a broad network of non-academic associated partners, comprising international organizations, NGOs and private sector actors engaged in humanitarian action. NOHA benefits as well from the support of the Basque Agency for Quality (Unibasq) responsible of the evaluation, accreditation and certification of quality in the coordinating institution area (the Basque University System) and the association of a relevant academic publisher, Springer, with which NOHA publishes the NOHA Journal of International Humanitarian Action. |
