Description | The $15.4 billion Non-Stop South Road project in South Australia aims to create 26 hectares of new green space and 22 kilometres of new and upgraded cycling and walking paths. It includes the development of 10 new or upgraded open spaces along the corridor, each with distinct landscaping themes celebrating local identity and heritage. The project will also increase tree canopy coverage by 20%, add five new pedestrian and cycling bridges, and create a non-stop road bypassing 21 sets of traffic lights between the River Torrens and Darlington, saving up to 40 minutes in peak travel times. |
