Description

Description

The project involves the development of a Pan-African data center and cloud services platform with a short-term goal of reaching 40 MW capacity. The platform will focus on the development of hyperscale and wholesale carrier-neutral facilities to provide solutions to enterprise, government, and hyperscale customers across the African continent. The partnership with African Infrastructure Investment Managers (AIIM) allows N+ONE to expand its existing campuses in Morocco and Senegal, while also developing new hyperscale locations in response to customer demand. The entire project costs $90 million, entirely funded by AIIM through its pan-African infrastructure fund, African Infrastructure Investment Fund 4 (AIIF4), with N+ONE contributing existing digital infrastructure assets in Morocco. Financial close was achieved in August 2023. https://www.infrastructureinvestor.com/aiim-driving-digital-connectivity-in-africa/ https://aiimafrica.com/media/media-centre/aiim-invests-usd90-million-in-new-joint-venture-with-nplusone-datacenters/ https://www.linkedin.com/posts/africa-infrastructure-investment-managers_aiim-invests-usd90-million-in-new-joint-venture-activity-7099305610701135872-p9aO?utm_source=share&utm_medium=member_desktop
