Noorwala Road Sewer Pipeline Project

A sewer pipeline project on Noorwala Road in Ludhiana has caused severe traffic congestion and safety hazards due to slow progress and poor management. Excavation work began in April along the stretch from Sartaj Nagar to Radha Swami Satsang Ghar, following a separate water supply pipeline project. The lack of coordination between the two projects has left one side of the road blocked, causing gridlock and dangerous un-levelled trenches and open sewer pits. The project has also led to health issues from construction dust and economic losses for local businesses.
