Description | The project consists of enhancements of the Downtown Norcross Historic Central Business District - Phase II. Phase II includes Improvements along Thrasher St, Holcomb Bridge Rd and South Peachtrree St. The length of improvements is 0.45 miles and includes widening existing sidewalks from 4' to a consistent 6' width, landscaping and pedestrian lighting. Improvements will be made within the existing pedestrian thoroughfare and will not alter existing road widths except for a 100' section on South Peachtree St, just north of Carlyle St. The sidewalk in this section will be 8' wide. This section will require restriping of the center turn lane and road edge in order to accommodate angled parking. The overall road width will be reduced from 29.5' to 24'. |
