Description | A section of North Cheyenne Cañon Road was washed out on June 4, 2025, causing closure of both roads into North Cheyenne Cañon Park. The Seven Bridges Trail, which includes wooden bridges some submerged by swollen creek waters, was also closed. The U.S. Forest Service and Colorado Springs Parks Department are awaiting water levels to recede for proper damage assessment. The road section that collapsed will need replacement, and engineers are assessing the entire road for further damage. |
