Description | The North Logiealmond wind farm is a proposed 130MW onshore wind farm project by Muirhall Energy in Scotland. It will consist of 18 turbines with maximum tip heights of 200 metres, located approximately 18km northwest of Perth within the land of Scone Estates. A noise monitoring study using ZX Measurement Services' ZX 300 wind Lidar has been conducted to provide precise wind data for noise impact assessment. The project is in the development stage with a Section 36 application for consent expected in autumn 2025. The wind farm aims to supply electricity to almost 120,000 homes and reduce carbon dioxide emissions by over 164,000 tonnes, with a community funding pledge of more than £900,000 annually. |
