North Okanagan - Shuswap North Okanagan Rail Trail: Enderby-Splatsin Section

The project will improve active transportation by completing the 1.7 km Spatsin to Enderby section of the Shuswap North Okanagan Rail Trail. The section will connect the two communities as well as completing the first pilot section of the regional trail. The project would create the first completed section of the regional rail trail, but would also serve as a stand alone section to link two communities. The project would be a showcase pilot section of the trail. The Splatsin and Enderby communities have identified a gap in connectivity and this would allow for easy movement between the two. The project works include: - mobilization and demobilization; - site preparation including grubbing and clearing; - installation of surface gravels, road crossing, signage, fences and barriers; - installation of drainage; and, - all related works.
