North Phase 2 Expansion and Electrification Project

Expanding the bus storage area by 13,400 sq ft, which will replace the north wall and will add approximately 7,650 sq ft of exterior wall. Additional work includes removing and replacing the roofing, structural reinforcement of the roof structure, new roof-mounted exhaust fans, overhead crane and fall protection, upgrading the facility electrical system—as the recommended charging strategy uses medium voltage power (12 kV-50 kV)—and procuring and installing chargers and overhead charging pantographs for 60 BEBs.
