The Project also includes the purchase of an electric Zamboni for maintaining the ice surface. The reconstructed facility will be in compliance with the National Hockey League Green framework and will meet Natural Resource Canada’s ENERGY STAR certification. Additionally, the facility will be equipped with infrastructure to access residual heat from the refrigeration process and reduce operating costs during colder seasons for another potential building, should an adjacent building be added to the site in the future. |
