Description | The project involves the development of high-purity manganese sulfate monohydrate (HPMSM) and electrolytic manganese metal (EMM) processing facilities as part of the downstream processing platform of the North Star Manganese Project. The facilities aim to establish a fully domestic U.S. manganese supply chain, supporting critical minerals and advanced manufacturing sectors. The processing plant will have an initial production capacity of 100,000 tonnes per year of HPMSM and 10,000 tonnes per year of EMM, with potential expansion to 200,000 tonnes per year of HPMSM. |
