It is New York's first new gas pipeline in at least a decade and the largest expansion of fossil fuel infrastructure since the state's 2019 climate law. The pipeline is projected to cost over $2 billion and will add approximately $7.50 per month to average gas bills for National Grid customers in New York City and Long Island. |
