The project includes approximately 23.5 miles of new underwater pipeline, with 17.4 miles within New York State waters, designed to provide 400,000 dekatherms per day of natural gas transportation service to National Grid for customers in Brooklyn, Queens, and Long Island. The pipeline connects to the existing Rockaway Delivery Lateral pipeline and aims to support reliability and reduce oil use. |
